Client’s key issues and challenges to tackle
How do you shine a spotlight on a long-term research project—an ambitious study tackling a subject that is both disruptive and essential to the future of our consumption habits? From 2019 to 2024, the ANR CRI-KEE project brought together 25 international researchers to investigate insect consumption in Europe. The study focuses on consumer behavior toward this innovative food system, which answers rising demand while ensuring environmental sustainability.
The concept is brought to life through a short, fast-paced film: around a family table, an insect-based dish is served, sparking surprise and even disgust. A scientist then contextualizes the issue, explaining that insect consumption is common in Africa and Asia, while in Europe only four species are currently authorized. She highlights both the nutritional and ecological benefits, reminding us that insects are, in fact, already present in some of the products we consume unknowingly.
