Injections!
What society seems to expect from women
8 March 2026 – International Women’s Day.
OK, fine, but… what does society seem to expect from women today? For International Women’s Day, we wanted to give shape to those little sentences – you know the ones – that still punctuate women’s daily lives far too often.
Speaking in our own name
The short film “Injections!” shines a light on those harmless-sounding remarks, the repeated advice, the “you should”, “you’re not enough”, “you’re too much”… that end up weighing heavily on the making of an identity.
A film produced by the studio itself, with no client and no brief: a statement in our own name.
The film
One character, one wall, and sentences appearing one by one, like posters pasted up. One minute of black-and-white 2D animation, where each injunction piles onto the previous one until the weight becomes visible.
Because before celebrating women, we need to listen to what they are told — and hear what that says about us.
